across experiments and projects, and provide common solutions.
We also support and service CERN project teams that produce
software for HEP experiments to improve their software
development practices based on defined and supported common
standards, methods, and tools. Our activities include:

Information and Documentation Systems
Information and Documentation are crucial for experiments with thousands
of physicists, lasting several decades. The IPT group took part in the
original development of WWW and we now
use this technology for experimental physics.
